Delete your Slipway data

What data exists about you in Slipway, how to delete it yourself in the game, and how to ask us to delete the rest.

What data exists

Slipway has no accounts and never asks for your name, e-mail or phone number. Depending on your choices, this is what exists:

• On your phone only: progress, hints, settings, stars, daily streak, achievements and your generated nickname. We never receive this data; deleting the app deletes it.
• Anonymous gameplay statistics (only if you allowed Anonymous stats): game events such as levels played, mistakes, hints and ads shown, linked to a random Stats ID. Kept for at most 12 months.
• Leaderboard profile and scores (only if the leaderboards are on): a random anonymous account ID, your generated nickname (or your Game Center name, if you chose to show it), your country code, your scores, achievements and weekly league results.

Ad data is collected by Google AdMob, not by us. You can manage it with Google's tools (myadcenter.google.com) and in the game under Settings → Privacy Options. Purchases are recorded by Apple or Google under their own policies.

Delete it in the game

• Leaderboard data: Settings → Leaderboards → Off → Hide and delete my data. This deletes your nickname, country, scores, achievements and the anonymous account from our server, immediately (or as soon as the phone is online again).
• Statistics: Settings → Anonymous stats → Off stops all sending and deletes the events not yet sent. Events already sent can only be deleted by us: see below.
• Everything on your phone: delete the app.

Ask us by e-mail

Send an e-mail to hello@joybloomgames.com with the subject "Delete my data" and include:

• your Stats ID, shown at the bottom of Settings while Anonymous stats is on. If you already turned it off, turn it on for a moment to read the ID (it doesn't change), then off again;
• and/or your current leaderboard nickname, if you want leaderboard data deleted and can no longer do it in the game.

We store your data only under these random identifiers, so we can't find it by your name or e-mail address: please include at least one of them.

We delete all data linked to the identifiers you send (statistics events, leaderboard account, nickname, country, scores and achievements) and confirm by e-mail within 30 days at the latest, usually much sooner. Nothing linked to these identifiers is kept afterwards. We keep your e-mail only as long as needed to handle the request.
